01/10/2021 AT Salzburg: Walk against the coercive measures of the government
As on the last Sundays, people came together for a walk at 2 p.m.
A larger contingent of police as well as employees of the health department were on site to check compliance with the regulations.
Since the walkers kept the required distance, there was no reason for the authorities to intervene.
The number of people walking seems to be increasing from week to week.
Well over 500 people went along.
The train moves over the Mozartsteg, along the Giselakai, over the Müllnersteg and back to the Mozartsteg.
Then a second round was done before the walkers came back or dispersed.
One person was allegedly stopped by the police for identification after shouting "It's 2pm, time to go for a walk".
